Happy Valentine's Day!

New Layout

I'm playing around with the layout of my blog... Tell me what you think of the color schemes... I have been looking at it way too long and everything is just starting to blend together. I'm not sure I really like the colors of the text and borders that I have going on, so any suggestions/thoughts would be great!

New Stuff

So, I'm just playing around, adding things to my blog... One new thing I added - since we get so many people asking us what Belle wants for her birthday, christmas, etc., I have added a list of books that I would like to get her... I will update the list as I see cute books or as she receives them. So, next time she has a birthday or whatever, you know where to go to get a list of things "she" wants... (Or that Mommy wants, whatever!) :)

They say more snow is coming tomorrow... another 16-24"!!! Not really sure where we are going to put it...

Snow!!!

Well, it snowed!!! And it's feeling like home now! The only difference is, there is NO WHERE to put the snow!!! There is such dense development around here and snow (especially this amount) is so unusual that they don't have to plan for snow removal areas in the design of their developments. The snow stopped and the sun came out about 5:00pm last night. Our landlady said that Crofton (where we are at) got 34"! Here's the funny thing... it was supposed to start back up again Tuesday... and they just moved it up and we are now under ANOTHER winter weather warning from about 7:00pm tonight until Wednesday evening!!! hahahaa!!! :) Here are some photos from this weekend for you. The plow truck finally came and then he got stuck in the driveway... So they brought in a bobcat, who also got stuck... It took them about 5 hours to plow a single path through the parking lot. We (okay, Nick) shoveled all the snow out from around our cars into the parking lot so that they would take it away, but as you can see, they just made a single pass and then left.

In front of our house. For those of you who don't know... there is about a 2 1/2 foot drop off from the sides of the stairs at the door... The snow is now about 1 foot above the stairs... and the snow pile where we've been putting it all is about 6 feet high.

Isabelle's latest thing is throwing a temper tantrum over everything. For instance - Thursday morning, I took her to daycare and when we got there, I opened the door and she ran in to see her friends... well, nobody was in the room yet, so what does she do? She throws herself down on the floor, starts stamping her feet and crying... and then the teacher and her friends walk in, she gets up and runs over and gives them a hug... It's so funny (and not all at the same time). I generally just laugh at her, which just makes her more angry. Yesterday, I actually laid down on the kitchen floor with her and started stamping my feet and yelling... then she got up, looked at me and walked away like I was crazy or something. :) hehee!! She's just too much right now... Enjoy the video - she wanted a bottle of milk (which, mind you, was in the microwave - FOR A WHOLE 30 SECONDS!!! LORD HAVE MERCY!!!)

Well, apparently blogger sucks and will not let me upload videos - EVER... so, that is why I have to do everything on Facebook these days... WAY TO GO BLOGGER!!!! Thanks for all your user friendliness...
